Pre-normative study on the use of Construction and Demolition Waste in Recycled Concrete for Structural use

CMD Ingenieros has taken part in some other R&D activities with public bodies in the field technology of construction materials. Within the RECHNOR project, developed jointly by CEDEX (Centro de Estudios y Experimentación de Obras Públicas) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia regarding the normative development of recycled concrete for structural use, and the study of its mechanical and rheological properties, CMD Ingenieros is applying these results to the project design and construction supervision of a bridge over the Turia river between Manises and Valencia. This project is a pilot experience on recycled concrete for structural use on road bridges. Some results of this project may be found in references.
