Scope of the work: Design, Construction Project and Construction Supervision.
Client: Batumi City Hall.
Description: This tower has been conceived to become an urban landmark that transmits the uniqueness of the Georgian people through their alphabet, which conveys the character of the nation and defines its identity.
The structure of the tower functions as a cantilever truss of 130m in height and 31m in diameter, embedded in its base to a foundation slab of 34m in diameter and 4m in height. At the top of the tower stands a single-layer glass sphere of 28m in diameter housing a revolving restaurant, several TV studios and an observatory with views to the city of Batumi, the Black Sea and the surrounding mountains.
