After a 15-years career on other companies of civil and structural engineering, Alberto Domingo and Carlos Lazaro set up CMD Ingenieros in 2005 around a wide and capable team, experienced on disciplines such as engineering, architecture and urban planning. In 2006, Juliane Petri joins them as partner and manager leading the Landscape and Urban Design Department. In 2009, Francisco J. Palacios, civil engineer in charge of the Structures Deparment, becomes associated member of the office.

Juliane Petri

Civil Engineer on Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (1991) and Master on Urban, Environmental and Territorial Planning on Valencia Polytechnic University (1999).
She has focused his career on urban design and urban planning. At INICIAS Dirección y Gestión de Iniciativas, S.A., she managed large urban plans for different towns of Region of Valencia.
In 2006 she joins to CMD Ingenieros becoming partner and Director of Urban Planning – Landscape. Leading this department she made outstanding works like the proposal for the International Competition “Valencia al Mar. Marina Real Juan Carlos I”, awarded with the second position, or the proposal Modernization of “Trasa W-Z” Tram Link, in Warsaw, designed in collaboration with AMP Associats S.L. and awarded with a second mention on the international competition. With CMD. Ingenieros she has developed in Georgia spaces like Rike Park, in Tbilisi, the extension of the Batumi Boulevard and the master plan and the new Seafront Park in Anaklia-Ganmukhuri. She has been lecturer in many symposiums and professional meetings about territory, landscape and urban design.

Francisco J. Palacios

Civil Engineer on the Valencia Polytechnic University (2005), specialized in Civil Works and Building. Since he joins to CMD Ingenieros, he has been Project Manager, Head of the Structures Deparment and, now, Managing Director of the studio. He has participated in projects like the new Turia River Bridge in Manises, the Jucar River Bridge in Cullera,the Xativa Bullring renewal, and the construction of the Alphabetic Tower in Batumi (Georgia). He becomes associated member of CMD Ingenieros in 2009. He has been lecturer in professional meetings like ACHE International Conference on Structures (2008), IASS 2009 Symposium, and he was awarded in 2009 with the Hangai Prize from IASS – International Association of Shell and Spatial Structures IASS.
